The night was cold, and the drizzle pelted my body softly. As beads of sweat rolled off from my chin, I made the move. Everything happened in a quick succession as if instinct took over me. After a feint pass, all my sense focused on the rim, and I hurled the ball.
“Nice one, end of game”, Ash declared.
I was like, the game’s done? I asked them for reassurance.
“Yeap, it’s already 11 points”
“Who got 11 points?” That was the stupidest question I ever come up with. Of course it’s my team, since it ended with me scoring the last goal.
After the basketball match, I headed home for a rest. I cooked up instant curry noodles with fish balls and black pepper corndogs, topped with an egg boiled together with it. It didn’t taste like what I did expect, maybe it’s missing something. So, next thing was watching Danny Phantom while eating my supper and straight to gaming. It seems I’ve been playing games more than usual, which is quite bad as I’m currently supposed to be doing a project with a friend. I’m still trying to wake up early as soon as possible to maximize the time potential, but it would usually turn out to be a failure.
After ending the game with a match won, I thought of having a midnight shower to cool of my body, and as usual, the accompanied by life reflection. But it seems I’ve been laid back these few days, and the pest has dared to venture out in the night. And so, it was time to Dance with the Cockroaches.
With a insecticide by my right hand, I felt ominous. But then, I used the water spray to wash it away instead to do the job, but it came back from the hole of hell and struggled against the current. And so, the wrath of Shana stroke the vile beast, vapour of insecticide rose in the cockroach’s defeat. And I continued my shower.
I remembered today’s visit to g-dad in Singapore General Hospital’s ward. He was breathing heavily on his bed. All I could do was waved at him and smiled when I entered the ward. He seems to have woken up from, whatever it was, but he looked very weak. My mum kept stroke his head, talked to him to entertain him, and I watched every piece of machinery available in the ward.
His heart beat was regular, thanks to the automatic inhaler stuff. And after 10 minutes or so, me and my mum bid farewell to my g-dad, and went off home.
The cold water droplets made by body shiver, and I came back to my senses. And I thought, start of today, I should be doing a descriptive blogging to entertain the readers. Though if they were to say it’s rather boring, then I shall not continue.
And here, I’m ready to publish the ending of a prologue in my life.
